Could you Hurt and Kill this Baby? If you consume dairy, you are.

Millions of dairy calves are killed every year in order for us to consume the lactations of their mothers.

You see, like all mammals, cows, goats, sheep, etc. must first have a baby in order to produce milk.

So, the dairy industry forcibly and repeatedly impregnates female animals to get and keep them lactating.

After the mothers carry and give birth, their babies are then taken away from them, usually within hours or days, so we can take the milk instead.

Any of the baby animals who are not needed for the next generation of “milk producers” are killed as infants or youngsters, including virtually *all* of the males who will never produce milk.

As you may have guessed, this is where most veal calves come from. The veal industry would simply not exist without the dairy industry — they are one and the same.

And, ultimately, once the mother’s production declines and she is no longer considered “profitable” for her milk, which occurs at a fraction of her natural lifespan, she too is sent to be killed at the slaughterhouse as well.

All of this exploitation, death and violence against some of the most vulnerable beings on the planet is completely unnecessary and easily avoidable. We have zero biological need to consume dairy or any other animal foods (and, in fact, we can be far healthier avoiding them altogether).

Please boycott this obscene brutalization and killing of the innocent for milk, flesh, eggs, skins, pelts and all of the other completely outdated and unnecessary animal products. It’s incredibly easy to do, starting today, simply by going and staying vegan.
