Global Meat Production has Tripled in the Last Four Decades

Environmental Devastating Meat Production as Tripled | Meat Your Future

Global meat production has TRIPLED in the last four decades, driving the environmentally devastating expansion of animal operations all over the world.

And this is expected to continue, with the U.N. projecting a 20% increase in poultry and dairy consumption in the next decade alone.

The reason for this disturbing trend is a combination of our increased appetite for animal foods around the world, as well as a sharply increasing total human population (by 2050, the world’s human population will likely increase by around 30 percent, to a little under 10 billion humans).

How will the use of animals, which is inherently cruel, ever stop, with this ever-growing demand for animal products?

Our rapidly increasing human population, coupled with our consumption habits of eating animal foods, is wrecking havoc on the environment, and on billions of sentient animals.

Are the animals and our environment doomed? A mass global shift to veganism has never been more pressing.

If you are not already, please go vegan to help protect (and restore) the environment, and to remove your participation from this needless and cruel industry (and do what’s in your power to help raise awareness and educate as many others as possible about these very important issues).
